Guatemala has a nationwide network of buses. These buses are old school buses from North America, which makes them colorful, and cheap to get a ride on. These buses may be slow and uncomfortable, but they will take you anywhere. They get you amongst the life in Guatemala. These buses are often called chicken buses, because people often bring a chicken or two on with them for the ride.
